Second annual ‘Bangers & Mash’

The second annual ‘Bangers & Mash’ saw our off-roaders battle it out in a high octane pairs relay which, as usual, turned out to be very competitive.

In true Mossa spirit, we rocked up to a forest, cut a short singletrack circuit, put some tunes on and threw an XC event together. The second annual ‘Bangers & Mash’ saw our off-roaders battle it out in a high octane pairs relay which, as usual, turned out to be very competitive.

3 laps on, 3 laps off for 45 minutes was the format, requiring full gas efforts with just enough time to recover before tagging back in.

The 1 mile circuit had a mix of technical and flowy sections with a short sharp climb to sting the legs. We got lucky with the weather, finding a two hour window of clear skies, which meant the trails were prime.

Young Cory (14) came along as a guest of his grandad (Tony) and did really well. Welly and Mark T gave a brilliant account for themselves but couldn’t catch the formidable duo of Mike and Liam who nicked the win.
